Shiv Sena protests against overcharging by liquor sellers

JAMMU, May 11: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit here today staged a protest demonstration against overcharging by liquor sellers and demanded cancellation of licenses of such erring sellers.
The protest was led by Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni and the protesters were holding placards with slogans in support of their demands written on them.
Sahni claimed that objection to overcharging always invites misbehaviour from the liquor sellers who claim that share also goes to higher-ups.
He said that this overcharging increases manifold in far flung areas and in Kashmir division where the tourists are openly looted.
The Shiv Sena leader said if the Lieutenant Governor of J&K claims corruption-free administration, he should then act strictly against the Excise Department for this wrong doing.
Shiv Sena general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; vice president, Balwant Singh; Sanjeev Kohli, president Kamgar; Raj Singh, secretary; Rakesh Handa, Shashipal, Mangu Ram, Ajay Kumar, Ashwani Kumar and many others were also present in the protest.
