Jammu, June 28: Minister for Industries S S Slathia today convened a public meeting at Bari-Brahmana and took stock of problems and demands of the people.
The Minister inaugurated Rs 75 lakh tubewell at Kargal, Bari-Brahmana which has discharge capacity of 4000 gallons per hours. The tubewell will supply water to various villages including Meen, Makorewali, Pathwal and Dassal. He also inaugurated lanes and drains constructed with a cost of Rs 6.5 lakh at Kargal besides inaugurating Rs 5 lakh Patwarkhana and Meen Sarkar, Barjani.
Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Mubarak Singh and other senior officers of district administration accompanied the Minister.
