Srinagar, Mar 10: One person was killed, while seven others were injured in two different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a passenger, Rayees Ahmad Mir son of Manzoor Ahmad of Behrampora, Sopore, was killed when a minibus, JK05/5930, turned upside down near Model Town Sopore in Baramulla district.
Four others were also injured in the accident and they have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said three persons were injured when a Sumo, JK06/1067, collided with a truck, JK13C/8380, at Toll Post Qazigund in South Kashmir.
He said they have been identified as Abdul Majeed Ganie, Mohammad Yousuf Ganie and Saja Bano, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Ganie, all residents of Bagwanpora in Verinag. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Police has registered cases in these accidents, he said.
