JAMMU, May 13: At least four vehicles were seized for their involvement in illegal mining here in Jammu District, police said.
They said a tipper was seized by a team of Police Post Sidhra, a trolley by a team of Police Station Nagrota, and two dumpers by a team of Police Post Jourian as these vehicles were carrying the minerals without Form A.
“The District Mineral Officer (DMO) Jammu has been intimated about the seizures made,” police said.
In a statement, SP Jammu Rural, Brijesh Kumar Sharma said that such actions against the vehicles involved in illegal mining will continue in the future as well.
