PC blames successive Govts for present mess

SRINAGAR, Mar 10: People’s Conference chairman Sajjad Gani Lone today accused the Coalition Government policies for the present mess in the State.
Addressing a party meeting at Sumbal Sonawari today he said the wrong policies of the successive State Government has been the cause of the present turmoil in the State.
Lone said that there is a need in changing the system to rid the people from their problems and they feel that they are part and parcel of the system.
He said the wrong policies of the successive Governments resulted in alienation of the people as some people amassed a huge wealth leaving the people in the lurch.
He appealed the people to support the PC in the ensuing elections so that the democracy is taken to grass root level in the State.
Party vice chairman, Dr Mohamed Kamal Malik,  Qamam -ud -Din Shilvati and Mir Ghulam Rasool addressed the meeting.
Mir Ghulam Rasool made a scathing attack on Congress saying it has deviated from the policies of Mahatma Gandhi due to which country is facing crisis at present.
He said the sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh have been totally negated by the party which showed interest in dynastic rule and authoritarianism.
