JAMMU : Incessant rains have suspended the chopper service to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine from Katra base camp in Reasi district.
“Due to continuous rainfall overnight, the chopper service was today suspended in view of fog and cloudy weather conditions prevailing all around the Trikuta Hills,” an official here said.
He said the service will resume only after the weather conditions improve.
The official further said that Vaishno Devi Yatra is smoothly progressing, despite rains, as no incident of any landslide or blockade of track has been reported so far. (AGENCIES)
