JAMMU, May 14: Three persons were injured in a road accident at Kahnachak area this morning.
Aryan Dogra son of Puran Chand, Kamal Kumar son of Ganesh Dass, and Sindhu Bhagat son of Amarnath, all residents of Garhi, Purkhoo, Jammu were injured after the bike they were travelling on was hit by a rashly driven matador (JK02T-0212) at Garhi Morh area on the Jammu-Akhnoor National Highway.
The injured were later taken to Government Medical College Jammu by SO (Traffic) Akhnoor SI Ravinder Singh and the bystanders in their vehicles, where they were responding to the treatment at the time of filing of this report.
While the accused has fled away from the spot after commissioning of the crime a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Kahnachak and further investigation taken up.
