Kargil, May 17, 2024: Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today inspected arrangements for distribution of election materials and Dispatch of polling parties ahead of Lok Sabha polls.
The visit was aimed to ensure the smooth distribution of the election material to Polling parties and their transport.
Detailed directions were issued for smooth distribution process, inter departmental coordination,welfare measures and transportation of Polling parties.
3 polling parties of Shadey, Ralakung and Phema have reached their destination via air sorties provided by IAF. Remaining polling parties of Zanskar and one polling station in Sankoo subdivision are being dispatched tomorrow.
