JAMMU, Mar 12: On the direction of National Conference working president Omar Abdullah, the NC provincial president Devender Singh Rana has appointed the chairpersons of the party campaign committees and district party observers for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections for Jammu province.
Ajay Sadhotra has been appointed chairman of the campaign committees for Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar while Surjeet Singh Slathia is the chairman of the campaign committees for Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi.
Rattan Lal Gupta and Abdul Gani Malik have been appointed as district observers for Rajouri while the responsibility of observer for Poonch district has been given to Brij Mohan Sharma and S Gurdeep Singh Sassan.
Th Kashmira Singh is the district observer for Udhampur, Jugal Mahajan for Reasi, Javed Rana for Ramban, Peer Mushtaq Ahmad Bukhari for Doda, Th Rachpal Singh for Kishtwar and Babu Rampal for Jammu.
All party observers shall report to the chairman of the respective campaign committees and station themselves at the respective district headquarters during the election process.
Mr Rana has also constituted the NC provincial committee for the Lok Sabha elections.

All district presidents and district secretaries will be the ex officio members of this committee.
Provincial president Devender Singh Rana will be the chairman of the committee and provincial secretary Sheikh Bashir Ahmad shall be the member secretary of the provincial election committee.
