As per the announcement made by the CAPD Department the scale of ration for the APL families is 35 Kgms of food grains per family (Also in a news item in Daily Excelsior dated December 23, 2013). But it is very shocking that the public is getting 25 Kgms of ration per family (20 Kgms of Atta and 5 Kgms of rice). It is not known whether the Department of CA&PD is furnishing wrong information through news or the Ration Depot holders are cheating the APL families.
Therefore, it is urged to the Department to please clarify the same either through the news or advertisement as what is the actual ration scale for APL families of Jammu Division.
Further, it is impressed upon the Director CA&PD Jammu to issue directions to all ration depot holders of Jammu Division to display the scale of Atta and Rice for APL families of Jammu Division on their notice boards, which they have never displayed upto now.
