The Prison Department J&K have advertised the 73 posts of warders vide Advertisement Notice No. 539 of 2005, dated 25-08-2005 which was published in the Daily Excelsior on 28-08-2005 and after that the Physical measurement, out door test was conducted for the post of warder vide no. Esst/Rec/3668-3750 Dated 31-08-2010, Esst/Rec./4246-4334 dated 16-09-2010 Esst/Rec./4447-82 dated 18-09-2010 and Estt/Rec./5953-89 dated 09-11-2010 followed by interview test vide notice No. DIP/J-8399 Dated 18-12-2010 published in the Daily Excelsior on 19-12-2010 which was conducted at Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu from 04-01-2011 to 06-01-2011, but no selection list has been published till date by the Prison Department. whereas there are 196 posts of warders vacant as on date in the department.
The aspiring candidates who have qualified all the stages of recruitment are eagerly waiting for the release of the said selection list and the said candidates are on hunger strike for the last more than (02) two months which is very injustice with them. It is, therefore, requested to the Home Minister and Director General Prison Department to please look into the matter and direct the concerned to release the selection list at an earliest so that the aspiring unemployed youths will heave a sigh of relief.
