Govt forms Core Committee for development at Tattoo Ground

JAMMU, May 21: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered constitution of a Core Committee for overseeing the process of setting up of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for undertaking development of Theme Park at Tattoo Ground, Srinagar.
Headed by the Joint Secretary (JKL), Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI, the Core Committee shall propose a roadmap for establishment of structure and nature of SPV based on Request for Proposal (RFP) in consultation with Ernst & Young LLP, which has been engaged for providing Transaction Advisory, Investment Promotion for Development of Theme/Amusement Park in J&K.
Further, the committee shall study and recommend upon the deliverables, such as Site Assessment Report (SAR), structure of SPV, final project structure Report, Draft Bid Documents, signing of Concession Agreement etc.
The Core Committee shall act as a recommending body to place the proposals for accord of sanction of the respective competent authority, throughout the project, as and when required.
Administrative Secretary of Industry & Commerce Department; Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department; Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Managing Director, JKTDC are members of the Core Committee.
