JAMMU, May 21: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting with the Jal Shakti Department officers to discuss progress of Jal Jeevan Mission works in the district.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the ongoing projects and addressed the challenges hindering their progress. He confirmed that the district administration is ready to support the resolution of any legitimate issues. He emphasised the importance of diligent work to ensure the projects are completed within set timelines.
Sachin Kumar called for a detailed compilation of obstacles faced in each project within a week to facilitate the efficient execution of Jal Jeevan Mission works. He recommended sustained inter-departmental cooperation to hasten the projects’ completion while also mandating weekly review.
Besides Jal Shakti Department officers, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr Rajesh Kumar, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, and other concerned personnel.
