JAMMU, May 21: Police here today registered a case in which a tribal Gujjar lady was injured after she was beaten up by her husband, mother-in-law and others in the outskirts of Jammu city.
The incident took place in Galbade area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanha Chack.
Police sources informed that Zareena Bibi, 25, wife of Parvez was injured when she was thrashed on May 16, 2024.
They said that a case against the four accused persons has been lodged in this regard at Police Station Kanha Chack today in an FIR with number 73/2024 under Sections 342, 323, 504, 506 and 34 IPC and investigation started.
The accused persons were Parvez son of Ghulam Mohd; Fatima wife of Ghulam Mohd; Wasim son of Iqbal and Salim.
However, no arrest was made till last reports.
