JAMMU, May 22: Independent candidate from Anantnag, Rajouri Parliamentary constituency, Dilip Pandita has appealed people to reject all traditional parties who created a wedge among the people on the basis of religion, region and caste for their vested political interests since 1947.
Addressing a meeting of Kashmiri migrants here, today he alleged that the traditional political parties including NC, Congress and PDP are responsible for the 34 year long turmoil in J&K as they sowed seeds of hatred among the different sections of society and divided people of different regions for vote bank politics.
Pandita said that the leaders of these political parties not played a dubious game the Kashmiri Pandits and other minorities in Valley would have never become refugees in their own country. He expressed grave concern over stoic silence maintained by the leaders of these parties in rehabilitating the displaced people from the Valley in their homeland Kashmir.
Pandita also accused BJP of not doing anything in this regard during its last 10 years of rule at Centre and said the party’s all promises have proved hollow so far as solving the problems of displaced people are concerned.
Pandita appealed the people of Anantnag -Rajouri constituency to vote for him as he will try his best to bridge the gulf created by these political parties among the different sections of society and work for the restoration of pluralistic character of J&K.
