JAMMU, Mar 14: In continuation of his hectic election campaigning in the strategic Rajouri-Poonch belt, addressing a series of corner meetings and party workers at Manjakote, Mendhar, Ari, Poonch, BJP Candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency & State President Jugal Kishore Sharma charged the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre with compromising national security by adopting a soft approach towards Pakistan, which has been violating the cease-fire and killing our soldiers on duty for no reason.
He said it was a criminal act on the part of the Congress-led UPA to host a royal lunch to the visiting Pakistan President at Jaipur as it was under his rule that the Pakistani barbarians breached the cease-fire line and murdered in cold blood to Lance Naiks—Sudhakar Singh and Hem Raj-deep inside the Indian territory in Mendhar sector of Poonch district. “The nation will never forgive the Congress for the disrespect it showed to the Indian martyrs”, he added.
Commenting on the plight of the people of Poonch district, Sharma said that their plight is highly miserable as the district lacks infrastructure, civic amenities, educational facilities and there are no employment opportunities available for the educated, skilled and unskilled youth. Sharma was accompanied by Vibodh Gupta, Er. Ghulam Ahmed Khatana, Ravinder Raina, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Bharat Bhushan, Rajinder Gupta, Pardeep Sharma, Sunil Gupta, Satish Sasan, Daler Singh, Rafiq Ahmed Bhati, Ashish Sareen and others.
