REASI, Mar 14: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ashok Kumar today withheld the salary of a Master of Government Middle School Theru, who was found absent during his surprise visit.
CEO along with Harish Kumar Dubey ZEO Pouni paid a surprise visit to the various Government schools including GHS Kotla, GMS Theru, GMS Theot, GMS Doungi and GPS Chapparwadi.
CEO during his visit to GMS Theru found a master namely Kasturi absent and withheld his salary for the month of March. Besides this, ZEO Pouni was directed to seek explanation for the negligence.
He also directed incharge of GMS Doungi and GHS Theot to explain their position for not maintaining punctuality records of the school.
Headmaster of GHS Kotla was also directed to gear up the building work and RMSA.
