NPP to hold Foundation Day function at Kathua

JAMMU, Mar 14: Chairman J&K National Panthers Party (NPP) and MLA Ramnagar, Harshdev Singh today said that the party has decided to organise a grand function in connection with the Foundation Day of NPP at Kathua on March 23.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters Gandhi Nagar here today, the NPP leader said that with the aim to kick-start election campaign in favour of party candidate Prof Bhim Singh for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat, the party has resolved to organize this year’s main Foundation Day function at Kathua town. He said a large number of party workers would participate in the Foundation Day function.
Mr Singh, who was accompanied by party MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath and MLA Samba Yash Pal Kundal, said that Prof Bhim Singh is the real voice of the people of J&K. He has the capacity and capability to project issues of J&K in the Parliament vigorously. The man who spent eight years in jail for the cause of Jammu can better struggle for the people and project their issues.
The NPP leader pointed out that all the Central laws are not applicable in J&K until the J&K Government ratifies the same. He referred to the Right to Education and some other laws which are not applicable to J&K. He said Prof Bhim Singh has always raised such issues and is even contesting in the Supreme Court for the cause of the people of the State. He is the committed and dedicated fighter and has been struggling for the cause of Jammu for the last six decades. The NPP leaders appealed the people to support Prof Bhim Singh and send him to Lok Sabha.
