JAMMU, Mar 14: All India Backward Classes Union Social (AIBCUS) said that the statements by various leaders of BJP regarding 27 per cent reservation to State OBCs are distant away from real practices.
This was stated by Prof Kali Dass, general secretary of the union during a meeting.
He said that BJP leaders never raised this issue in the past rather used to go against the State OBCs. He added that BJP or any other political parties, which makes such statements during the elections, do not carry any sense.
The participants during the meeting termed the statements as political and a political gimmick to befool State OBCs.
The union has appealed the State OBCs to play a significant role in the forthcoming elections for a tough defeat to the treacherous political parties.
The meeting was attended by Sandokh Chand, Swarn Singh, TR Chargotra, Hunif Qureshi, Abdul Rashid Malik, Shokat Malik, KD Dalmotra, Sain Dass, etc.
