JKAACL organizes ‘Ek Shaam Sham Talib Ke Naam’

JAMMU, May 26: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages organized a musical programme ‘Ek Shaam Sham Talib Ke Naam’ at Writers’ Club, here today.
The programme was decided to the poetry of renowned Urdu, Hindi, Dogri and Punjabi poet of Jammu and author of several stories, Sham Talib (founder president of Adbi Kunj J&K).
Urdu & Punjabi poet Khalid Husain presided over the programme while Anil Sehgal was the chief guest on the occasion. Shah Niwaz (Incharge, languages of Academy), Amin Banihali (patron of Anjuman Farog-Urdu) and Sham Talib were also on the dais.
During the programme, Urdu, Dogri and Punjabi ghazals of Sham Talib were sung by A-class singer of J&K Dharmesh Nargotra and his team. Aarf Nargotra was on orchestra, Chandan Jasotra on violin and Joginder Pal on tabla.
The programme was conducted by Aarsh Dalmotra (chairman of Adbi Kunj J&K) while languages assistant of the Academy Anil Tiku presented vote of thanks.
