SAMBA, May 28: Police has solved a theft case registered at Police Station, (PS) Bari Brahmana district Samba, apprehended thief and recovered stolen items from his possession.
Police said on May 25, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana by the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Birpur regarding theft of desktop computer system along with allied accessories, UPS and WiFi router along with wiring from the school.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 65/2024 u/s 457/380 IPC got registered at Police Station, (PS) Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police team headed by SHO PS, Bari Brahmana rounded up a suspect and he was put to sustained questioning. During questioning, he confessed his involvement in the instant case and on his disclosure stolen items were recovered. Being minor, the accused has been sent to Juvenile Home at R S Pura by the order of Juvenile Justice Board district Samba.
