JAMMU, May 30: A delegation of J&K ex-servicemen here today met Rajya Sainik Board Director, Brigadier Gurmeet Singh Shan and submitted him a memorandum highlighting violation of SO/361 which states that ‘An ex-serviceman can avail the benefit of horizontal reservation in Government job only once.’
The delegation claimed that JKSSB has entertained even those ex-servicemen candidates who had already availed the benefit of horizontal reservation for Panchayat Account Assistant/ Class IV and other Government jobs in J&K.
The aggrieved ex-servicemen demanded removal of the names of those ex-servicemen (who have violated the SO/361) from the shortlisted candidates of Finance Account Assistant, so that justice is done to the eligible and deserving ex-servicemen candidates according to the rules and contents vide SO/361 dated Oct 20, 2021 so that the rule is followed in letter and spirit for Finance Account Assistant and any other future recruitments.
