UDHAMPUR, May 30: A senior clerk working in Chief Education Officer’s office in Udhampur, was knocked to death by an unidentified vehicle, early this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sudesh Kumar (52), son of Krishan Chand, resident of Chani Moud Udhampur.
According to the police report, the deceased was on morning walk when a rashly driven unidentified vehicle from Jammu to Udhampur hit him at Stani Roun Domail.
Some locals rushed the victim to District Hospital Udhampur where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Udhampur Police have registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
