Age limit for unemployed Kashmiri Migrants relaxed: Bhalla

JAMMU, June 29: The Government has relaxed the upper age limit by 3 years as onetime exception for unemployed Kashmiri Migrants eligible for recruitment against available vacancies caused due to de-reservation of posts and non-joining of selected candidates as a part of special dispensation made vide SRO-412 of 2009 dated 30-12-2009 under Prime Minister’s Package for Return and Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Migrants to Kashmir Valley.
This was announced by the Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla while interacting with the Apex Committee Members of Kashmiri Migrants at Srinagar.
The Minister said that this vital decision has been taken on the endeavour of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is keen to sort out the problems of Kashmiri Migrants.
The Apex Committee expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla and Minister of State for Revenue Nasir Aslam Wani for sanctioning the relaxation of upper age limit in favour of unemployed youth of Kashmiri Migrants.
