JAMMU, June 2: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) in a meeting at Jagti township today presided over by its president, Desh Rattan Pandita, has expressed serious concern over the long duration power curtailment in the area which has added to problems of the inmates of the township especially old and infirm people.
The meeting, while turning the attention of higher ups in Government including LG, Manoj Sinha towards this grave issue sought his personnel intervention in the mater to ensure round the clock power supply during the smelting heat wave.
AIMCCC urged the concerned authorities to give a heed to this request. The Government has to look into this issue and take immediate steps to provide succour to suffering people.
