5.7-magnitude quake hits Southern Sumatra, Indonesia

Hong Kong, June 5 :  An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Southern Sumatra, Indonesia at 02:20:27 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.66 degrees south latitude and 100.68 degrees east longitude. (Agencies)
