Kabul, June 6 : The counter-intelligence agency of the national defense ministry of Afghan caretaker government has discovered military equipment and spare parts of aircraft in the Afghan capital of Kabul and arrested three persons, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported Thursday.
The contraband, according to the state media, was worth about 1 million U.S. dollars, including 128 pieces of various spare parts of aircraft, eight pistols, wireless sets and ammunition.
Without identifying the arrested individuals, the news agency added that the three have been under further investigation. (Agencies)
