JAMMU, June 6: The Government today constituted a three-member Panel to study the Assam Model regarding welfare and pensions.

As per an order, the Panel would comprise Director Social Welfare Jammu, Additional Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department (to be nominated by the Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department) and Joint Director (Planning), (to be nominated by the Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department) as members.
The constituted Panel will study the Assam model regarding welfare/pensions, to make it family based so that each family gets benefited.
