JAMMU, June 29: Officers of Punjab National Bank held a protest demonstration here at PNB, Circle Office, Bahu Plaza here against the local management’s biased attitude.
A large number of officers including women officers participated in the demonstration and raised their concern and voice against the local management’s excesses and pledged to continue their agitation till their demands were redressed.
Addressing the agitating officers, zonal secretary, Satish Khajuria, and zonal president, AIPNBOA said that a deputation of PNB officers will go to Srinagar for handing over a memorandum to PNB’s CMD during his scheduled visit between July 6 and 8.
AIPNBOA, affiliated to AIBOC is representing over 19000 PNB officers. Under the leadership of Satish Khajuria and CL Bhat, officers of AIPNBOA’s, J&K unit, is continuously demonstrating against the local management since last week.
PNB officers of Kashmir valley also held similar demonstration at PNB’s Area office, Srinagar, today.
