SRINAGAR, June 8: Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday attached properties of two militant handlers in North Kashmir’s Baramulla.

Police said the properties of Jaleel Ahmad Rather and Mohammad Ashraf Mir, both residents of Tilgam Baramulla were attached after obtaining an order from Additional Sessions Court Baramulla.
“The duo are currently based in Pakistan,” a police statement said.
The properties attached included 8 Kanals & 4 Marlas land worth Rs 1 crore.
“The action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC & are linked with case FIR No.04/2008 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121 RPC, 7/25 Indian Arms Act,13 UA (P) Act of PS Kreeri, ” Police said.
The property belonging to terror handlers was identified during the course of investigation conducted by the police. (Agencies)
