MENDHAR, Mar 19: An Army soldier was killed while another seriously injured after their vehicle fell into a gorge in Krishna Ghati area of Mendhar today.
The mishap took place when the Army vehicle (39 RR) was on way to Jhallas from Krishna Ghati this afternoon.
While Sepoy M T Samatha (24), hailing from Karnataka was killed on the spot, his associate Sepoy Sanjay Kumar (30) was seriously injured.
The injured soldier was rushed to Army hospital Poonch.
