LEH, June 8: As part of Operation Sadbhavana, the Fire and Fury Corps of Indian Army inaugurated a Community Radio Station for the local populace of Leh.
A handout of the Army stated that Leh now has a new voice ‘Yang Syan (90 Mhz)’ for the people and by the people.
The inauguration event was a celebration for the locals who were reverberating with excitement to be part of the positive step.
Chief of Staff, Fire and Fury Corps inaugurated the Community Radio Station which comes as a new dawn for Leh, Ladakh.
The event was also attended by R.K Jarangal, DDG AIR Leh, Tsewang Palijor, Deputy Secretary Cultural Academy of Ladakh, Sonam Lotus, Director Meteorological Department and Murup Stanzin, President Press Club Ladakh along with the youth of Ladakh.
The team ‘Yang Syan’ aims to live up to their motto ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ by engaging the people of all age groups with interesting contents, exciting music and fervour.
