JAMMU, June 9: The Government has preponed the holidays on account of Guru Arjun Dev Ji’s Shaheedi Diwas and Guru Hargobind Ji’s Jyanti Diwas.

An order issued in this context read, “Restricted holiday on account of Martyr’s Day of Guru Arjun Dev Ji shall now be observed on June 10, 2024 (Monday) instead of June 16 (Sunday) in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.”
“The Public Holiday on account of Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday shall now be observed on June 22 (Saturday) instead of July 5, 2024 (Friday) in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir,” the order further read.
