JAMMU, June 10: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Jammu today protested against alleged irregularities and corruption in NEET UG results and other paper leaks by National Testing Agency (NTA).
During the protest demonstration, held in front of the Jammu University main entrance, the ABVP activists raised slogans against NTA. They were holding placards with slogans for strict action against the culprits.
They said that in a national level exam like NEET, questions are being raised on fairness of prestigious institution like NTA and therefore the Government must act for restoring confidence of students. .
While addressing the gathering, ABVP State Secretary Akshi Billoria said that there is suspicion of irregularities in the NEET UG exam and results. “There are suspicions due to multiple toppers from the same centre and the administration is responsible for the irregularities in conducting of the NEET exam,” she said and demanded a CBI investigation besides strict action against the culprits.
ABVP State Joint Secretary Sannak Shrivats and State Media Convenor Ramnik Sharma also addressed the gathering. They said that appropriate action should be taken in the NEET exam result case so that students can retain their faith in the exam.
