KPs urge Govt to take stringent measures to curb terrorism

JAMMU, June 11: Kashmiri Pandits in a meeting here, today have shown their utmost anger over the increasing incidents of terrorism in J&K especially in Jammu region and urged the Government to tighten the security grid in the UT to destroy the entire support structure of terrorists who are trying to revive the militancy in the UT.
Addressing the meeting Kashmiri Pandit leader and co-in charge Kashmir BJP Hira Lal Bhat said the repeated incidents of terrorism in Jammu region is a serious concern and immediate steps are needed to curb terrorism and weed out it from the UT completely. Bhat, while addressing the meeting said the recent attack on Yatri bus in Reasi district and killing of nine pilgrims reveals that there are total security lapses and under such circumstances the people are feeling insecure. The administration and security agencies are being caught unaware and it seems that terrorists and Pakistan are trying to repeat the nineties like situation.
Bhat said Pakistan is a rouge State and India should deal it in the same manner by snapping all kinds of ties with it and also launch attack on terrorist camps across the border to destroy entire support structure of terrorism in that country. Till India will not act decisively against Pak situation will not improve, he added.
The meeting was attended by community activists including Sundri Lal Koul, Shadi Lal, Nana Ji Raina, M L Bhat, Vinod Pandita, Inder Krishan, Ajay Kumar etc who in one voice urged the Government to take stringent measures in curbing terrorism.
