MENDHAR, June 11: A massive fire broke out in the forests located in the hilly areas of Mendhar sub division of Poonch district.
Report said that the fire blazes are being seen in Bhimber Gali, Bhataduriya, Nar forest, and other places of Mendhar. Due to the fire, forest property worth crores of rupees has damaged, while many wild animals are also reported to have perished.
Local administration, officials of Forest Department, Wildlife, local people and others are trying to control the fire. Smoke and blazes of the fire are visible far and wide while people in the nearby rural areas are also troubled due to the smoke.
