RAMBAN, June 12: An unidentified man was here today killed after he was hit by an unknown speedy vehicle in Kelamorh area on Jammu-Srinagar Highway.
Police said that driver of the erring vehicle fled away from the spot after committing the accident.
On getting information a Police team reached the spot and shifted the mutilated body to District Hospital Ramban from where it was shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for identification.
Police has registered a case in FIR Number 140/2024 Under Sections 279/304-(A) of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Ramban and started investigation.
