POONCH, June 13: A house was badly damaged in a fire incident in Mohalla Sheeshmehal in Poonch City today.
Official sources said that a portion of the house of one Avtar Krishan, son of Chuni Lal, suddenly caught fire during morning. The neighbours ran towards them and told that flames were coming out from a corner of their house.
The family members ran out for the safety and started dousing the fire. The neighbours informed Fire Station and Police about the matter. The Firemen with fire tender reached the spot and controlled the fire. They contained the fire from spreading in the Mohalla. However, property worth lakhs was damaged in the fire of this family. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
