Samvedna Society organises eye check-up camp

JAMMU, June 14: Samvedna Society chairman Keshav Chopra in collaboration with Sood Eye Centre here today organised 84th free eye check up camp at Gaushala in Amphalla.
The camp was inaugurated by General Manager DIC Jammu, Virender Kumar Manyal along with SHO Pacca Danga Police Station, Inspector Rakesh Singh Jamwal.
A total of 108 patients were provided free of cost treatment including refraction, NCT, AR check-up and vision check-up by a team of experts.
Speaking on the occasion, Virender Manyal mentioned the importance of regular check-up camps and said how this noble initiative is contributing to the betterment of mankind.
He lauded the efforts of Samvedna team for organizing the camp for common masses.
Keshav Chopra said that cataract removal surgeries will also be done free of cost on Ayushman Card and such camps will continue in future also.
Dr. Amit Singh, Eye Surgeon; Rakesh Bali, Marketing Manager; Ashish Sharma, Hiteshwar, Rajesh Sharma, Brijesh, Surinder Slathia, Ramesh Kumar, Pandit Vakalat Ram, Sushil Gupta, Sourav Gupta, Manoj Tandon, Vikas Kumar, Ritesh Peer and others were also present in the camp.
