Homeopathy is very slow to Act
Fact: In acute cases, Homoeopathy not only gives instantaneous results but also cuts short the period of illness, long lasting weakness or relapses seen after the Conventional treatment of acute diseases where as homoeopathy is usually chosen to deal with the chronic and lingering problems which take longer time to recover and thus creates an impression that drug is slow in action. Moreover patients resort to homoeopathy after trying all the systems when the problem gets suppressed or at times possibly mismanaged, where as resorting the balance can be challenging and time consuming.
All Homoeopathic medicines are the same
Fact: The white pills are non medicinal sugar of milk and are used as a medium to administer the homoeopathic medicine. Depending upon the illness, homoeopaths medicate the pills with the selected medicine out of range of more than 3000 different dilutions
Diabetics cant take Homoeopathic medicines as the pills are sweet
Fact: The amount of sugar in homeopathically medicated globules is negligible and can be taken by diabetics also.
Homoeopathic medicines have steroids
Fact: It is a very common myth among the average person that homoeopathic medicines are mixture of steroids. I understand their thinking because they are unaware of the principles of homeopathy and sweet pills. Homeopathic medicines make things normal within the body. It corrects the disease instead of suppressing it. When our medicine provides quick relief, the patient and others are prone to think that it contains steroids
Homoeopathic medicines are by and large derived from plant kingdom which has certain alkaloids that are extracted and made into Homoeopathic medicines. All homoeopathic medicines are FDA approved.
Homoeopathy has no scientific background and is practiced by Quacks
Fact: Like other Medical professional studies, Homoeopathy also has a study period of 5.5 years and studies the same basic subjects as an MBBS with difference being addition of 3 subjects on homoeopathy
Homoeopathic medicines cant be taken with Conventional medicines
Fact: Yes, they can be taken safely together but under the supervision of a trained professional. Homeopathic remedies are considered safe and unlikely to cause severe adverse reactions.
