Nirankari Mission organises blood donation camp

JAMMU, June 16: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation of Nirankari Mission here today organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Domana.
Volunteers from Sant Nirankari Mission Branch Gurah Brahmana also participated in the camp. A total of 100 units of blood were donated by the volunteers.
The camp was inaugurated by Sher Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu.
Ajit Singh, Zonal In-charge Sant Nirankari Mission Jammu said the Mission is establishing universal brotherhood by donating blood as all humans are members of one global family.
He said that till date over 13 lakh units of blood have been donated by the Mission in nearly 600 camps.
Parshotam Singh, Muthi Domana welcomed the chief guest and donors presented on the occasion.
Dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. Major Sahil Gorka from Blood Bank GMC Jammu; B.R Lachotra, former Director General Planning J&K and Gian Chand, Kshetriya Sanchalak Jammu.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Govt Medical College Jammu and JKSACS.
