KDP wing of DPAP demands rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus in Valley

JAMMU, June 16: The Kashmiri Displaced People (KDP) Wing of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) today appealed the Government to rehabilitate the displaced Kashmiri Hindus back in the Valley.
In a statement issued, Sanjay Dhar, President of KDP Wing said that the successive Governments have failed to devise a concrete resettlement, Rehabilitation Policy for the Displaced Kashmiri Hindus back in Valley.
Dhar also expressed grave concern regarding the hollow assurances staged by the Leaders of Political Government since 2014 and which were also repeated during the Election campaigning by the party won election during 2024.
He appealed that the Government must take into cognizance the love and affection of Displaced Kashmiri Community towards their birth places with the recent visit of thousands to Kheer Bhawani Shrines of the Valley from India as well as from Jammu Province.
Dhar further appealed the government to work out a one time return policy of Kashmiri Displaced People to Valley in the first session of Parliament but with consultation of real sufferers/ stake Holders of displacement especially languishing in Camps.
The organisation have expressed their earnest hope that the Present Government will consider their demands for one time dignified Rehabilitation, back to Valley and will not repeat the process adopted through dust bins in past.
