JAMMU, Mar 22: Pradesh Congress Committee president, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz has assigned responsibility of various Assembly segments to the party Ministers for the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Dy Chief Minister Tara Chand has been assigned the responsibility of Chhamb, Akhnoor, Marh, Raipur-Domana, Bishnah, Vijaypur and Samba. Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Sports Raman Bhalla has been given the charge of Gandhinagar, Jammu East, Jammu West, Nagrota, R S Pura and Suchetgarh Assembly segments.
Minister Incharge R&B Abdul Majid Wani will be responsible for Doda, Kishtwar, Inderwal and Bhaderwah segments; MoS Revenue Aijaz Ahmed Khan in-charge Reasi, Gool-Arnas, Gulabgarh, Ramnagar and Udhampur, MoS Technical Education, PDD incharge Banihal Ramban and Chenani while Minister of State for Cooperatives and Finance given the responsibility of Billawar, Bani, Basohli, Kathua and Hiranagar.
Minister for PHE, I&FC Sham Lal and chairman of Campaign Committee will be the incharge of all the constituencies falling in district Poonch and Rajouri.
