JAMMU, June 17: An unidentified individual among two persons were found dead under mysterious circumstances in different areas of the district today, police said.
They said the body of an unidentified individual, aged around 55, was spotted by some passerby at Gajansoo area.
They informed police and accordingly the body was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for post-mortem and identification.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the reasons behind the death of the individual.
Meanwhile, one Raju (35) son of Jaswant Singh of Christian Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, was found in unconscious conditions at Thathar Ground, Patoli, Jammu.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem police have launched inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of the death of the individual.
