JAMMU, June 17: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Parkash Branch Jammu organised Guru Vandna Chhatra Abhinandan (GVCA) programme at a camp of girl students in Bee Enn Charitable Hospital.
These students, drawn from far flung areas attended the camp under the patronage of Bhalla Educational Society and they displayed their talent by singing.
Arun Sharma, Member NGSC at the Centre and Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Prant President also graced the occasion.
At the outset, Devinder Gupta, Branch President introduced the guests and briefed about the programme.
Students paid respect to their teacher by presenting flowers and in return teacher showered their blessings on them.
Arun highlighted the importance of GVCA as one of the national project and emphasized on the values of teacher-student relationship in present times.
Prant President, B.B Sharma and Dr. Raj Kumari, Branch Sanskar Parmukh and Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of Parkash Branch also spoke on teacher-student relationship.
On this occasion three toppers were felicitated by presenting mementoes by the Branch besides school bags.
Team of BVP comprised S.R Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Dr. Raj Kumari, Sanskar Parmukh, Secretary Dinesh Gupta and Devinder Kumar, President and this team lauded the efforts of Kunil Bhalla, Managing Director Bee Enn Charitable Hospital, Rakesh Gupta, Organizer and Raj Raina for improving the lot of weaker section of the society.
The programme ended with recitation of National Anthem.
