JAMMU, June 19: The Government has appointed two IAS officers as Nodal Officers for smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2024.

Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Administrative Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, has been appointed as Nodal Officer for Baltal Axis while Bhupinder Kumar, Administrative Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department was appointed Nodal Officer for Pahalgam Axis.
“The officers will closely monitor and liaise with all concerned agencies involved in the conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024 and shall report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board on regular basis,” an order issued by Commissioner/ Secretary General Administration Department (GAD) Sanjeev Verma, said.
