Dutta asks housewives, young voters to play crucial role in rejecting negative forces

JAMMU, Mar 23: Continuing door-to-door campaign in support of the alliance candidate, provincial president National Conference (NC) Women Wing Vijaylaxmi Dutta asked housewives and young voters to play crucial role in rejecting the negative forces, who were hell bent to divide the society for their petty political interests.
“NC has always fought these forces, not for the sake of power but for the stability and unity of the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh”, she said this while interacting with women groups at Kachi Chawani, Mohalla Narayana and Tanghe Wali Gali in the Old Jammu City.
Dutta gave an overview of revolutionary initiatives taken by the Government in empowering women, involving rural people in decision making through the mechanism of Panchayati Raj Institutions and launching various welfare schemes for women, youth and other segments of the society.
During interaction with groups led by Vijay Mehra, Ritu, Chander Mohan, Chain Singh, Kamlesh Bhagat and Monika Mehra, Dutta said vote and support to Madan Lal Sharma will be endorsement to the policies of present dispensation.
Dutta was accompanied by Suman Khajuria, Vimla Bakhshi and Reeta Bhagat.
