UDHAMPUR, June 21: Under mysterious circumstances, a young man was found dead in Tawi River at Chenani, here today.
According to the police report, an information was received at Police Station Chennani that dead body of an unidentified man was lying in river Tawi. Acting on the information, a police team rushed to the spot and fished out the body for identification and other legal formalties.
Later, identity of the deceased was established as Rajinder Kumar (38), son of Radheshyam, resident of Kadian. A case has been registered in this connection U/S 174 CrPC for further investigation.
