KISHTWAR, June 22: Police here today arrested a liquor peddler and recovered 102 bottles of illicit liquor from him.
Cops from Police Station Chatroo intercepted a vehicle of Mahindra Bolero Pickup Maxx make bearing registration number HP24E/6786 in Chatroo area and during its search found 102 bottles of illicit beer, each of 650 ml, originating from Himachal Pradesh.
Driver of the vehicle Firoj Khan, son of Ilam Deen, resident of Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh was arrested on the spot.
Police has registered a case in this regard in FIR No. 36/2024 at Police Station Chatroo and started investigation.
