JAMMU, June 22: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K before conducting Assembly elections.
The protest was led by MSJK leader Sunil Dimple who threatened mass agitation in support for the demand and said that NDA and INDIA block parties should debate in Parliament on Statehood to J&K with special status.
The MSJK leader urged upon the ECI to immediately announce Assembly elections in J&K without any further delay.
He said that it was Supreme Court verdict to restore Statehood to J&K and hold Assembly election and BJP has no role in it.
Prominent among those present in the protest were Ram Kapoor, Dev Raj, Raju Kumar, Ashraf, Shafi, Das Kumar, Kala Kumar, Vicky, Sanjay Sethi and many others.
